We collect as little as we can, keep it safe, and never sell it. This page explains what we collect on this website and why.

Who we are

TNC builds apps for the moments that matter. You can reach us about anything on this page at founder@thenewcompany.dev.

The Darb waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address and where on the site you joined from. We use it for one thing: to email you when Darb launches. We store it encrypted and do not share it with anyone else.

To be removed, email us and we will delete it.

Job applications

If you apply for a role, we keep what you send: your name, email, a link to your work if you add one, and your answers. We use it to review your application. Applications are stored encrypted and read only by the people hiring at TNC. Some applications are first screened by an automated review, which helps us read them consistently; a person always makes the decision.

We keep an application while the role is open and for up to 12 months after, so we can get back to you about future roles. Ask us any time and we will delete it sooner.

Site analytics

To understand how people find and use the site, we count visits privately. We do not use cookies or store anything on your device, and we do not keep your IP address.

For each visit we keep:

• the page you viewed;
• the website or campaign link that brought you here, if any;
• your country, and whether you used a phone, tablet or computer;
• a random visitor code that changes every day, so we can count visitors without recognising anyone.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not count your visit at all.

Where your information is kept

The site and its data are hosted by Vercel. Waitlist emails and applications are encrypted before they are stored.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email founder@thenewcompany.dev and we will reply within 30 days.

Children

This website is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us their details, tell us and we will delete them.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
